The conference and expo is held by Talent Advertising Company with support from Afghanistan’s Chamber of Trade and Investment, Capital Region Development Authority (CRIDA), and a number of other government and non-governmental organizations in Kabul.
The launch event held at Kabul Serena Hotel was attended by a number of high ranking government officials, including some leadership members of CRIDA, MPs, investors and entrepreneurs.
At the event, a number of officials, including some from the organizing institutions, delivered speech; calling the objective of the exhibition a better cooperation between the government organizations and private sector besides marketing for the domestic products and providing an opportunity for companies to sign contract on commercial and production.
Mr. Abdul Sami Stanekzai, CRIDA acting CEO, at the event talked about the importance of cash flow within the country, welcoming the exhibition and stressed the investment opportunities in economic zones of the capital region.
During his speech, the acting CEO, informed the participants of the completion of infrastructure work in Barikab Agriculture-Industrial Park, saying significant progress has been made in Mohammad Agha Industrial Park, and Logistic Park in Maidan Shahar, capital of the central Maidan Wardak province. He said CRIDA tries to provide investors and entrepreneurs with better investment opportunities in the country.
It is worth mentioning that in the fair called (Aalist-Afghanist) 68 government and non-governmental institutions, including CRIDA, exhibited their products and services in 70 booths, and it is expected that during the three-day conference at least 13 different panels will discuss challenges and opportunities of investment in Afghanistan.
